The Octagonal Blender is an efficient and versatile blending machine for mixing and lubrication process of dry granules homogeneously. Two third of the volume of the Cone Blender is filled to ensure proper mixing. The Octagonal Blender Machine gives best result for granules due to very slow speed and octagonal shape of container. It is uses in application of Pharmaceutical, Food, Chemical and Cosmetic products.
In Octagonal Blender the granules come from all sides due to the octagonal shape of the product container, hence requirement of blender RPM is less. Octagonal blender design suitable mainly for Crystalline & Granular type material. This type of material gets sufficient continuous movement due to their shape if container have only slow movement and will results in good quality of blending / lubrication of granules.

Dry powders and granules are gently blended using an octagonal blender. Depending on the needs of the process, the blending is conducted at low to medium speed. The Octagonal Blender (10 kg–10,000 kg) is made up of an octagonal-shaped blending tank with a rectangular closure for material charging and a butterfly valve in discharge for material discharge. Adjustable baffles are included with the octagonal blender. Stainless steel 316 is used for all contact parts, whereas 304 is used for non-contact parts. silicone gasket with a food-grade rating. The octagonal blender's whole interior and exterior surfaces are mirror-finished.
The driving unit for an octagonal blender is typically made up of a motor, gearbox, and chain arrangement set in a "A"-shaped frame with stainless steel covers. Switches or an HMI are used to control and regulate every aspect of the machine. The blender motor unit contains an electrical interlock and a lever safety bar with a proxy switch for accessing the octagonal blender area. If the lever safety bar entry is open, this interlock is supposed to stop the blender from operating.
